CHAPTER 01

2001 — 2008 · INFORMATIVOS TELECINCO

I started in audiovisual in 2001 as a camera operator in the news services of Telecinco. I finished studying, they offered me the internship, and I ended up staying eight years. Lots of culture, a lot of Barça up and down, many events, and a lot of Circuit de Montmeló with Formula 1.

One of the most fun periods of my life. Barely twenty years old, taking the car and going to shoot something different every day, you really enjoy it.

CHAPTER 02

2008 — PRESENT · POST-PRODUCTION

Some years later, I started to get interested in post-production, and La Fábrica de la Tele gave me the opportunity to train and grow as a professional at Óscar Cornejo's production company, el Dios de la TV creativa.

I have been involved in many projects: some significant creative challenges, others super interesting, and some crazy projects that I love to brag about. I have combined my full-time job with other projects to which I have been able to dedicate time and care at home. I love being busy; the creative bug has no mercy.

CHAPTER 03

+PERSONAL

From my years as a cameraman, I retain that magical feeling every time I come across something worth photographing. Photography has become one of my most solitary hobbies, almost therapy. As a good editor who lives in his cave, I love being alone, so I usually get lost some weekends, my DSLR and I.

I'm captivated by anything that champions creativity and I don't shy away from any challenge. I'm lucky to have worked with very, very good people, and I've managed to 'steal' some of their talent to make it my own.

I'm also left-handed, a self-convinced ex-smoker since 2017 and I'm trying to develop a fully automated YouTube channel with artificial intelligence. Since they're going to take our jobs, at least let me be the one who gives them work. Spoiler: It's extremely expensive if you want to make it cool.

I have created and manage the project Viene de Lejos; An evolutionary psychology magazine/podcast that travels back in time to ask our ancestors why today we feel, fear, and relate in the way we do.

On the other hand, tired of managing my portfolio through Wordpress and countless plugins and paid tools, I decided to create my own custom content management system; if you want to take a look inside, you can find it here.

CHAPTER 04

SKILLS

I work in Mac environments with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Photoshop. I also use DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut. I'm extremely reluctant to use a PC and Avid, but if there's no other option, I can manage.

I've been experimenting with the generation of audiovisual content using artificial intelligence. I regularly use ElevenLabs for audio and voice, Midjourney for image generation, and Runway for video editing and creation.

In my personal project vienedelejos.es, all content is entirely managed with AI.
